For the past couple weeks as a part of a class I’m taking from the Forest Therapy School, I’ve been listening to The Book of Rewilding: A Practical Guide to Rewilding, Big and Small by Isabella Tree & Charlie Burrell on Audible.
I’m supposed to walk in silence and absorb all my local forest has to offer – touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste. Prior to my class I would tune out the forest on my walk – I was walking to get in shape and listen to politics, mostly MSNBC and political podcasts.
I have almost weaned myself off of Morning Joe, Rick Wilson, Tim Miller, and Molly Jong Fast. I mostly split my time between silence and books/pods on rewilding. As a part of my class, I have also dipped into some books and pods on Shinrin-Yoku also known as Forest Bathing.
The purpose of this Ad Random Blog is to promote a conversation/cohort on regenerative landscaping and rewilding churchyards. We will no doubt touch on rewilding and regenerative practice in other applications, but we will mainly focus on churchland.
Once I get 6 people to put their hand up that they are interested, we will figure out dates and times. I anticipate four sessions over a two month period. The cost of the cohort will be with Holy Currency. Interested? Shoot me a email: brian@faithfulagrarian.com.
